At a Christmas/New Year's feast in Camelot, Sir Gawain takes up The Green Knight's challenge to a head chopping contest. This is, of course, a trick as the Green Knight is an enchanted being. He is seen here making his grand entrance into the hall itself to issue his challange

This powerful man is the Hand of Justice. He is seen here considering you with scroll in hand and scales on the table. The dice at his elbow suggest that you might make a deal, but would that be wise?

Three queens accompany King Arthur in a sacred boat on his final journey to Avalon after being mortally wounded by Mordred. He waits there until Britian requires the once and future king again.

This image is a role playing character commission. Kilfara is a knight who is a the top of her game, yet humble and deeply religious in much the same way as Joan of Arc. She was done in a mixed media of color pencils and Dr Martin's Dyes.

Lady Ettard

A tragic Camelot love story. The beautiful Lady Ettard inspired many Knights of the Round Table, especially Sir Pelleas whom she spurned. She is seen here in a deep purple gown gazing into the courtyard.


Lady Lunette

Lady Lunete helped Owain escape a castle with the aid of a magic ring that made him invisible. She also helped him win the Lady of the Fountain... Twice.


Merlin

It is said that Merlin acquired his great magical powers from his demon father. Merlin was trusted council to King Arthur where he wielded as much power as the king himself.

His death, like his birth are equally mysterious. He is seen here as a young man.


Nascien

Nescien the Hermit is the holiest & wisest man in King Arthur's Camelot. He counseled Sir Gawain & Sir Ector in his remote mountain hermitage concerning a strange dream that both knights had shared.

He is seen here lost in thought as he takes a break from his writings

Three Gods have been summoned for battle by a powerful wizard as he stands before the temple. The sky darkens and waves crash on the cliffs as they appear.

This is card art done for the Legends expansion of Magic: the Gathering. A red headed warrior wields a bloody axe wth a clearly berserk look in his eyes.


Sir Dinadan
Used as card art for the board game Camelot Legends.

Sir Dinadan always weighed the odds of victory before a fight. He was also a great sport. At a joust with Lancelot, Dinadan ended up being dragged off into the forest after being unhorsed and was dressed up as a woman to the delight of the crowd.


Sir Gawain
Used as card art for the board game Camelot Legends.

The most chivalrous knight of Camelot, Sir Gawain is half-brother to Mordred, nephew to King Arthur and head of the Orkney clan after the murder of his father King Lot. Seen here in armor and swirling red cape, his sword in hand.


Sir Lancelot
Used as card art for the board game Camelot Legends.

Sir Lancelot is best friend to King Arthur and is considered the first, greatest and most handsome Knight of Camelot. It is said that he was raised by the Lady of the Lake after the death of his father, King Ban. Sadly, his doomed love for Guinevere brings about Camelot's fall.


Sir Marhaus

Sir Marhaus is an Irish knight known for his adventures undertaken with Sir Gawain and Sir Uwaine with the three damosels where each knight chose one of three women they met at a crossroads and left on a quest. They promised to return to the crossroads a year later.


Van Murdock

Van does it all. Master archer, swordsman and tracker extraordinaire. And he's easy on the eyes to boot!


Viking Warrior
One of my favorite black and white pieces. It is a seated Viking showing off some of the booty he's pillaged. This piece was in fact done as a sample for the Marvel Comics title "Savage Sword of Conan", but was not used. I retitled it to maintain my copyright.
