This garden is a place of optical illusions and impossibilities with an M C Escher feel. Among other things we see the top and bottom of the bridge, a hedge keeps going up and a branch disappears behind the mountain.

The Queen of the Ice Pagoda floats over the ground as snow falls all around her. She is on of the Four Monarchs of the oriental card game Shadowfist. The Queen was done in dyes and color pencils in soft blues and lavenders to reflect the tranquil surroundings.
